Curriculum vitae


Dr Georgios Papakonstantinou graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Thessaly in 2018. He continued his postgraduate studies at the Clinic of Pathology of Farm Animals and obtained his PhD from the same school in 2022. He then worked as a private veterinarian in veterinary clinics and pig farms. He then joined the academic staff of the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Thessaly, where he is currently an Assistant Professor. He has continued his education at the Department of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Padua in Italy and participated in continuing education seminars focusing on swine pathology and integrated health management at farm level. His published scientific work includes 31 peer-reviewed journal articles and 8 presentations at international or national conferences. He is also a reviewer for scientific journals and a member of the editorial board of two others. Finally, he is a scientific collaborator in 12 research projects.
