• Management of skin defects in the cat. • Myocutaneous flaps in cats. • Regenerative surgery in ovine tendinopathies. • Effects of various agents in the healing process in canine and feline skin.

Dr. Vassiliki Tsioli is Professor in “Animal Surgery”, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Thessaly.

For the last 19 years she teaches undergraduate students (6th-10th semesters) in the Faculty as well as postgraduate students. She has trained 67 postgraduate students in soft tissue surgery (in Postgraduate clinical training course of the Department of Surgery). She has supervised 2 PhD theses and she is a member of the advisory committee of 3 more PhD theses.

She has published 155 studies: 43 research articles (including clinical research and case report articles), 35 review articles, 68 abstracts in proceedings of scientific meetings, 3 book chapters, 2 teaching notes for students, 3 book chapters’ translations and has co-edited the translation of 1 book. She has participated with 95 lectures and announcements in national and international congresses. She has participated in 6 scientific committees in national congresses. She is a referee in 9 scientific journals. Impact factor of publications: 70.96. Scopus: Citations of publications (not including self-citations): 417
